Signs of Problem Gambling
It is important to recognize when gambling stops being fun. Consider the following warning signs:
- Spending more money or time on gambling than you can afford
- Feeling anxious, frustrated or restless when not gambling
- Chasing losses by placing bigger or more frequent bets
- Neglecting work, studies, family or personal responsibilities
- Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling
- Lying to friends or family about gambling habits
- Using gambling as an escape from personal problems
If you recognize any of these behaviours in yourself, we strongly encourage you to seek help immediately.
